About the Course
Florida now recognizes experience in another state. Now
there is no need to travel to Florida and it is no
longer necessary to be a Florida resident to hold a
broker's license in this state. The Florida
Broker Pre-License course is 72 hours (8 hours of
absences is allowed).

Who can take this course?
You need to have had a Salesperson or Broker License in
any state for one year within the last 5 years.

up
You will also need a Certification of Licensure from the
NY Dept. of State in order to apply for your Florida
Broker license.
In the past it has taken between 2-8
weeks to get the Certificate from the Dept. of State,
therefore we recommend you do this before you start the
